Prize-giving at the AGM 2021
Life showed another sign of adapting to a new normality yesterday when the club held its AGM in the clubhouse, with the twist of an extended audience: approximately half the attendees joined from home, via Zoom, resulting in a much larger turnout than usual. Fitting then that the club also returned to its annual prize giving.
Competitive activities during the 2020 season were somewhat limited, due to YNW. Whilst the 2021 competition season was reduced in duration, there were qualifiers and winners across the board. This picture of the glittering silverware was snapped before the ceremony. The prizes were presented by Rob Faulkner, a member since 1952(!), at the conclusion of the AGM, as is our tradition.
