25th Camphill Vintage Rally

Postponed to Monday 21 June to Sunday 28 June 2021

2020 was due to be a very special year for Camphill…. but we are now celebrating 25 glorious years of our Vintage Rally in 2021 instead.

Keep an eye on the webpage and Facebook for news. On the assumption we will have a similar programme, the originals plans are still shown below.

We have a lot planned to make it “the one to remember”. In addition to the usual Gala Dinner, and fully stocked bar, there will be a very special Jubilee Party, with live music and a fireworks finale. For those keen on the actual gliding, there’ll be opportunities to explore stately homes, castles and magnificent views from the comfort of your own favourite soaring machine, or the Ken Hardy, our recently restored T21, or whatever you can blag from the field!

Jubilee Party on Saturday Night

Live band to entertain you.… With General Mayhem
Live Bands
Grand Fireworks Finale

One of our members will be performing with his band, which will be playing a selection of folk tunes and classic cover versions with their own unique twist. A fabulous buffet will be provided by John & Sylvia. A local brewery will be brewing up a quantity of special Camphill Vintage Ale to help the party go with a swing. Step outside to enjoy a fireworks display to accompany the music.

Daily Task Setting

Tasks can be chosen according to your abilities – or you can just bumble around and do your own thing. We appreciate you’re here to enjoy yourselves, so it’s entirely up to you. If we were any more laid back about it – we’d fall over.

On Site Catering and Fully Stocked Bar

Meine hosts, John and Sylvia, will be on hand to serve you a delicious selection of English and Italian dishes (no NOT Pizza and chips – although you can have that if you want it) as well as John’s selection of world renowned curries (well … Camphill renowned at any rate).

As always, we will stock the bar with a wide selection of ales, real ales, guest ales, wines, spirits … Hic!  Enjoy!!

Grand Gala Dinner

The Gala Dinner is held on the Thursday. There’s a three course meal with wine. Wear your best bib and tucker, which for gliding folk usually means clean shorts and a fresh T-shirt. Numbers are limited for this, so please register for the event as soon as possible to guarantee a seat at the table.
